Corus Ireland Kick Off Rugby Sponsorship Deal

When Lisburn Rugby Football Club run out for their next fixture, they’ll be wearing shirts emblazoned with a Corus logo.
Chris Conway, Director Ireland, handedover the shirts to the team just before their home fixture against Ballyclare after Corus Ireland agreed a three-year deal with the club that will see perimeter advertising as well as the shirt sponsorship.
Lisburn RFC have teams covering all age groups including a thriving mini-section with over 180 registered players. They have four senior teams and include Corus Strip Products Shift Manager, Richard Dawson, among their number.
“We’re delighted to sponsor our local rugby team,” said Ireland director, Chris Conway. “Hopefully our involvement will encourage a few more Corus employees and their families to become involved with the club.
“Who knows, maybe we’ll discover the next Brian O’Driscoll or Rory Best as a result,” said Chris.
