Corus Metal Centre network expands
01 Jan 2006
Corus has opened new Metal Centres in Nottingham and Tewkesbury to cater for small and medium sized building, engineering, farming and manufacturing companies operating in the areas.
The new Centres will give customers fast, flexible access to a wide range of steel products, imposing no minimum order quantity and offering a 24-hour delivery service. Products include structural steel, tube, plate, galvanised steel sheet and ancillary products.
“The new Centres enables smaller customers to get what they want, when they want it.” said Nottingham Centre manager David Ford. “We can handle everything from a request for a single sheet of steel to a medium sized order of several tonnes, and because we have access to the stocks held by Corus nationwide, we can source material at very short notice. Mark Hobman, manager of the new Tewkesbury centre, added: “Corus Metal Centres are designed to meet the specific requirements of small and medium sized customers. These new Centres will enable these organisations to get the type of fast, flexible service they’d expect from a small local supplier while enjoying the benefits of dealing with a major multi-national company with a comprehensive product range, stock availability and competitive prices.”
The new Corus Metal Centres are open from Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.30pm. They accept a wide range of payment methods including credit card and cash.
