Electro-zinc coated steel for forming
As an alternative to hot-dip galvanised strip steel, electro-zinc (EZ) provides a combination of good formability with an excellent surface for a high gloss paint finish.
It is manufactured to the European standard EN 10152:1994 using substrate manufactured to EN 10130:1999 and with tolerances on dimensions and shape to EN 10131:1991.
In additions to the grades of steel within EN 10152, EZ material is available in a range of higher tensile grades, including the bake hardenable and rephosphorised steels.
